Genesis – Duke (1980) Transistional record from an extraordinary band which has had many transformations. I had not heard this one for a long time and it did’t dissappoint me! Beautiful tracks like Duchess, Please Don’t Ask and Man Of Our Times. I took it blindfolded out of a full cd-collection and that always surprises me. For a lot of prog fans this one was a kind of let down, but I get an artist’ wish for growth and not looking back. You don’t want to do the same trick over and over…? Collins went on a crazy succesfull solo career after this one and Genesis became well a popband.
