"Songs about relationships, growing older, ideologies, politics, religion and yes, about love. The title track takes you on a trip inspired by the ‘butterfly-effect’: small causes may have large effects. Like the flapping of the wings of a butterfly can result in a tornado. A fascinating subject for a song.
Songs about expectations, the feeling of being deceived and continues warnings about nonchalance. How to react on looking back and realising your ‘now’ doesn’t meet the expectations of your childhood.
And of course the universal theme of all of us in this world, love. Being OK with your relationship but still living with doubt despite your rock solid love. Love loses again and again."

We will release our debut EP while in our midfourties.
Fourty six.
That’s our average age. The perfect age to start a band. Musically skilled, no more stagefright and enough experience in life to tell a story. Too old for hipster hawaiian shirts, moustaches. millenial whoops or hey hey ho festival anthems. So if your looking for a band that’s trying to be meta about a captivating blend of literate, visceral indie rock with propulsive, anthemic choruses, please stop reading.
No blues man.
So music for old people? No f*-ing way. Morgendust is not a ‘bluesband’, absolutely no ‘tribute band’, they don’t play classic rock and they’re not into bearded, be-flanneled ersatz blues or overly slow and sensitive singer songwriter songs. But they like to tell stories. Stories about the world we live in. Energetic, warm, melancholic and sometimes critical. About the stupid things we do, dreams, social themes, politics and yes also about love. And lot’s of other stuff you care about at a certain age.As we grew up in the 80’s we love the sounds of this golden era, it’s in our blood. We listened to Talk Talk, Duran Duran, Pink Floyd, Tears for Fears and Peter Gabriel. Nowadays we listen to Radiohead, Editors, Elbow & everything new that’s just good music.
You can call it ‘80’s style modern indierock’ or indiepop (and yes, we are really indie, so no recordlabels) or even midlife rock. Whatever you call it, it’s all about making music, the best thing in life to do since we we’re born. In the past we all made music in several bands like Soulstar, City Jam & Band of Glory and professionally as hired guns in the commercial music industry.
With PTS, three of our bandmembers toured with Marillion in the late 90’s.
We’re five street smart musicians who stand out in the studio and also live on stage. Our accessible, moody and energetic songs make us an ideal act for festivals and music venues.
Our singer is a drummer too but we don’t do that occasional floortom or two on stage.
We don’t do mic checks and shout our own name.
We’re 98% autotune free.
Formed in 2018, we released in 2019 two singles and our debut EP is planned Friday 13th 2019 at Hedon Zwolle
